Perimeter Guarding

Safety Systems offer a range of flexible perimeter guarding systems from leading manufacturers. These modular systems feature:

• Durable powder coated mild steel, stainless steel or anodised aluminium construction
• A range of heights from 1.4m to 3.0m.
• A range of duty ratings for different environments and impact resistance.
• Access options such as hinged or sliding single or double doors, trackless doors and vertical gates.
• A variety of infill materials such as sheet steel, weld-mesh, clear or tinted polycarbonate.
• Locking options such as snap locks, cylinder locks and panic locks.
• Simple assembly and installation.
• A wide range of colours.

These systems can be offered as complete turnkey solutions or can be sold on a supply only basis.

Machine Shop Guards

Safety Systems are able to supply and install a wide range of Machine Shop guarding to machinery such as

• Lathes
• Horizontal Milling Machines
• Vertical Milling Machines
• Radial and Pedestal Drills
• Grinders
• Hydraulic Presses

As well as standard ranges of guards for Machine Shop environments we also have the facility to offer one-off custom guards for those unique machines and processes often encountered.

Polycarbonate & PETG Guards

Safety Systems also design, supply and install bespoke guarding in Polycarbonate and PETG sheet. Often used where greater visibility, product/liquid containment or contaminant prevention is required. These materials can be cut shaped, formed and machined allowing a huge range of possibilities for guarding.

Permanent Means of Access to Machinery

In addition to machinery guarding, Safety Systems can also advise upon, design and supply permanent means of access to machinery in accordance with BS EN ISO 14122 Parts 1-4.

EN ISO 14122 consists of the following parts, under the general title "Safety of machinery - Permanent means of
access to machinery" :

• Part 1 : Choice of a fixed means of access between two levels.
• Part 2 : Working platforms and walkways.
• Part 3 : Stairs, stepladders and guard-rails.
• Part 4 : Fixed ladders.
