Laidler launch 1 day Functional Safety Course Nov 04 2011 With EN 954-1 finally being withdrawn at the end of 2011, machine builders and users have to be aware of the standards that will replace it. BS EN 62061 and BS EN ISO 13849-1 are the standards that will fill the gap left by EN 954-1 and both of these use the concept of functional safety to determine the required safety circuit architecture.
